Participan de la exposicion los artistas Chava Epshtein, Rajel Greenshpan y Ricardo Lapin .La muestra estara abierta del 28 de octubre al 27 de noviembre de 2011.

This gallery and exhibit is part of the programme of partnership between Università delle LiberEtà and the Multi Disciplinary Center in Modiin (Israel), as a part of yearly activities of collaboration. During the present year we decided to have an artist exchange. Our guests will be hosted for a week in our town of Udine. During this time they will have the chance to get to know the artistic landmarks of our territory.
Chava Epstein
Born in Jerusalem, she graduated with a degree in arts at the Bezalel Academy of Art & Design. She is a member of the association of Painters and Sculptors of Jerusalem and she has exhibited her paintings in fourty personal galleries in Israel and foreign countries. Two of her works have been exhibited at the Israel Museum, one at the Art Museum of Harod and some at the Space Gallery in Tokyo. She also exhibited at the Modus Gallery in Tel Aviv, at the North Gallery in Long Island (USA). Her favourite techniques are: engraving, oil, ink, water colour, collages, pastel and drawings on stone and ceramic. Chava also writes prose, poetry and screen-plays. In her works she tries to express the idea of happiness and fear using the memories of unforgettable, strong and contrasting moments.
Rachel Greenshpan
She is a photographer, graphic designer and video maker. Her last exhibits have been held mainly in Modiin Israel, where she has been living for 12 years. She has always dedicated herself to art as fashion designer and model maker, painter and computer graphic designer, but her main interest is about photography: she loves to capture reflexes on water and glass surfaces and to take pictures of everything around her. She has worked for some time in Milan as fashion designer and then she went back to her country, Israel, where she started to be very much interested in photography. Using the lenses of her camera she brings up the pleasant memories of her life, the exciting and most significant moments.
Ricardo Lapin
He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At the age of ten he already started using the oil technique and at thirteen she started learning from a Uruguayan master the art of graffiti painting. His educational background is also about art, humanities and philosophy. He had to interrupt his career to emigrate to Israel because of the persecutions of the Argentinian military government. He graduated in Jerusalemt from the Betsalei Academy of Art. He has made ceramic works using several artistic techniques. He has been a teacher, written poetry, songs and theatre choreographies. He has helped in producing illustrations for children books and made silk-screen paintings. Some of his works belong to private collections in England, France, Argentina, Spain, Uruguay and Israel.

L’Arte in valigia - mostra d’Arte Israeliana - a cura di: Daniela Gamberini Questa mostra si inserisce nell’ambito del gemellaggio tra l’Università delle LiberEtà e il Centro Multidisciplinare di Modi’In (Israele) che prevede annuali attività di collaborazione. Nell’anno in corso si è deciso di effettuare uno scambio di artisti. I nostri ospiti che soggiorneranno per una settimana a Udine avranno così modo di conoscere le perle artistiche del territorio.

Gli Artisti: Chava Epstein Nata a Gerusalemme, si è laureata in arte all’Accademia di Arte e Design Bezalel, è membro dell’associazione dei pittori e scultori di Gerusalemme, ha esposto in quaranta mostre personali in Israele e all’estero. Due sue opere sono state esposte all’”Israel Museum”, una al Museo d’Arte di Harod e alcune alla “Space S Gallery” di Tokio. Ha inoltre esposto al “Modus Gallery” di Tel Aviv e alla “North Gallery” di Long Island USA. Le tecniche utilizzate sono: incisione, olio, inchiostro, acquarello, collages, pastello, disegni su pietra e ceramica. Chava scrive prosa, poesia e sceneggiatura. Nelle sue opere cerca di esprimere il concetto di felicità e di paura utilizzando il ricordo fatto di momenti indimenticabili, potenti e contrastanti.
Rachel Greenshpan Fotografa, graphic designerer, creatrice di video. Le sue ultime mostre personali sono state fatte prevalentemente a Modi’in in Israele, dove vive da 12 anni. Ha sempre lavorato nel campo dell’arte come fashion designer e modellista, pittrice e computer graphics, ma il suo interesse principale è per la fotografia, perché attraverso di essa riesce a catturare i riflessi di immagini sull’acqua e sul vetro e a fotografare tutto ciò che vede e la circonda. Ha lavorato per un periodo a Milano come fashion designer. Poi è ritornata nel suo Paese, in Israele, dove ha manifestato un forte interesse per i nuovi media. Attraverso l’obbiettivo della macchina fotografica può ricordare con piacere il suo passato, fatto di momenti eccitanti e impegnativi.
Ricardo Lapin E’ nato a Buenos Aires, in Argentina. Già all’età di dieci anni utilizza la tecnica ad olio e a tredici va a imparare da un maestro uruguaiano l’arte dei murales. La sua formazione è, oltre che artistica, letteraria e filosofica. Deve interrompere la sua carriera, per emigrare in Israele a causa delle persecuzioni della giunta militare Argentina. Qui completa i suoi studi, presso la Facoltà di Arte all’Accademia “Bezalel” di Gerusalemme. Ha realizzato opere in ceramica e ha utilizzato diverse tecniche artistiche. Ha insegnato, scritto poesie, canzoni e creato coreografie teatrali. Ha illustrato libri per l’infanzia ed eseguito opere serigrafiche. Alcune sue opere sono in collezioni private in Inghilterra, Francia, Argentina, Spagna, Uruguay e Israele.
